Take a browse through a selection of books from my library, books that have been extremely valuable to my EF/WF experience. They are listed by category and have a brief description of why I have found them to be valuable. They are hyperlinked to Amazon.com if you want any of them.

OOB / T,O&E Books

Handbook on German Military Forces by U.S. War Department

Excellent background on German T,O&E's in WW II.

US Army Handbook 1939-1945 by George Forty

Excellent T,O&E and Divisional sub-unit designations.

The Armies of Rommel by George Forty

Excellent histories with good T,O&E as well.

Panzertruppen : The Complete Guide to the Creation and Combat Employment of Germany's Tank Force 1933-1942 (Schiffer Military History) Vol. 1 ) by Thomas Jentz

Incredible details on how many and what kind of tanks fought with what division when. It also includes a decent bit of history and AAR info, but spotty in coverage.

Panzertruppen : The Complete Guide to the Creation and Combat Employment of Germany's Tank Force 1943-1945 (Schiffer Military History) Vol. 2 ) by Thomas Jentz

Later war version of the above. It is the same in all respects other than period covered.
